Although the Department of Clinical Genetics is based in a children’s hospital, adults are also seen and these clinics are held in the genetics department. Fourteen clinics are held each week in the DCG. The DCG works closely with the genetics department in Temple Street Children’s University Hospital, Dublin 1, with two consultants working across both hospitals. Four clinics are held each week in Temple Street. There are weekly specialist genetic counselling clinics, and specialist clinics for hereditary cancers, and Huntington disease. In addition, there are regional clinics. Details of the clinics are shown below:
