To make sure you are best prepared for your stay we’ve compiled a list of essentials to bring to the hospital with you:

Your admission/referral letter

Any forms or documents that your cardiologist has requested

Proof of your health insurance or medical card

The name, address, and contact details of your doctor (GP)

All the details of any medication you’re currently taking as well as any special equipment that you need for your condition

A list of any questions you may like to ask

Clothes for daytime and nighttime.

Toiletries such as toothbrush, hair brush, face cream etc.

A mobile phone or tablet so you can stay in touch with friends.

A good book, MP3 Player, or board game as entertainment.

Any school books that will help you keep up with your studies.

Do a check list of all the items you would normally bring for a stay away from home. This should help you remember all the essentials.
