Auditory Assistance / Sign Language Interpreter Services

Hearing enhancement systems
No hearing enhancement systems are provided at the reception areas at present.

Sign language interpreter services
A sign language interpreter can be provided if booked in advance of your appointment. Please contact the clinic you will be attending to arrange this.

Accessible Sanitary Facilities

A wheelchair accessible sanitary facility is provided at main reception and a changing place is provided in close proximity to the main reception.

Changing places

The Changing Places bathroom facility is located on the ground floor of CHI at Crumlin. Please ask for directions to the facility at main reception. There are signposts to the facility on the ground floor. The bathroom can be accessed by use of a swipe card, available from the main reception desk +353 (0)1 409 6316. The bathroom facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Canteen / Refreshment Facilities

The hospital’s canteen is located on the main hospital corridor and is for the use of staff and parents/guardians. Please ask a member of staff for assistance should you need it. Vending machines with sandwiches/snacks are located near the canteen and outpatient’s department.

There are two coffee shops located on the ground floor of the hospital, which are run by an outside management franchise.

Wi-Fi Services

Internet surf boxes with printers are available in the common area on the ground floor. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available to patients and parents/guardians. To log in to the Wi-Fi, you must agree to terms and conditions.

Wheelchairs

Should you require a wheelchair on arrival, please note that there are a number of wheelchairs available at main reception.

Service Dog Area

No dog spending areas are provided at present.

Hospital Chapel

There is a Hospital Chapel located on the ground floor that celebrates Mass. The chapel is open all day for parents / guardians. The Book of Remembrance is open for viewing – the Chaplin or Site Manager should be contacted to arrange same. Click here for Chapel information.

Ear Defenders

Ear Defenders can be requested via the Speech and Language Department, which is located near to the main reception area.
