Heuston Train Station is approximately 15 minutes via taxi away from the hospital and services Cork, Galway, Kerry, Limerick, Waterford and Mayo. You can take the Luas outside Heuston Station and get off at the stop for Drimnagh. For further information please visit www.irishrail.ie

From City Centre:

Children's Health Ireland at Crumlin is located about a 20-30 minute drive from Dublin City Centre. Just drive south on Patrick Street, and take a right on to Cork Street. Continue driving straight on to Cork Street, onto Crumlin Road and the hospital is at the top of Crumlin Road on the right.

Via M50:
Take exit 9. Head to City Centre, follow the signs for R110/Long Mile Road. After passing Drimnagh Castle School continue onto the Drimnagh Road. After Ronald McDonald House take next left onto Cooley Road and you will come to Car Park Entrance 1.

Parking

Limited car parking is provided with the highest demand being between the hours of 9am to 4pm. The general patient/visitor’s car park is located at Entrance1 at the Main Outpatients Area on Cooley Road.

There are 6 No. designated car parking bays provided directly outside the Outpatient Entrance and 2 No. designated car parking bays the Main Reception Entrance. Disable Driver stickers must be displayed.

Terrain

Designated car parking bays are in close proximity to the entrances of the hospital.

A sloped access route incorporating both gently sloped and ramped sections is provided from the main access road (Cooley Road) to the outpatient area of the building. The slopes to the main reception area is steep and assistance may be required for wheelchair users.

Entry to the Hospital

Where is the entrance to the hospital?
The main entrance to the Outpatient reception is off Cooley Road near the designated car parking bays. It is advised that visitors go to Outpatient reception as a first point of call.

Is the entrance manual or automatic?
Both entrances are large, automated doors which are easily identifiable with good visual contrast with surrounding wall.
