COVID-19 Vaccine information for Parents/Carers of Children aged 5-11 years who have been treated for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (A.L.L) in the past, and experienced an allergic reaction to Peg asparaginase

All children over the age of 5 years will be offered a COVID 19 vaccine over the coming weeks, by the HSE.

For patients who have been treated for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (A.L.L) in the past, and experienced an allergic reaction to Peg asparaginase, it is important that their vaccine is administered under medical supervision. PEG is also a component of the vaccine.

CHI at Crumlin would like these patients/ parents to notify us if this is/was the case. We will then arrange vaccination of your child through the Allergy Service here in Crumlin.

Please contact +353 (0) 1 409 6720/+353 (0) 1 409 6908 with your child’s name and date of birth.
