The Chaplaincy Department like every other department within the hospital represents a very specific and professional discipline.  It works with other disciplines in providing a holistic service that is geared to total patient care and ministry to the family. Chaplaincy ministry is about expressing respect and care, about listening in a compassionate way and helping to create a space which recognises the spiritual needs of the patient and family.

  • The Hospital Chapel, which is located on the ground floor is open for quiet prayer and reflection 24 hours a day.

  • Please read chapel noticeboard for Mass Times.

  • Clergy of other denominations visit the hospital regularly.

  • If you would like to see a chaplain or a minister of religion, please ask a member of the Nursing Staff.
