70,000 attendances to Crumlin HSCP clinics in 2018

Health and Social Care professionals (HSCP) received over 70,000 visits to their clinics in 2018. There are approximately 348 (306.43 WTE) HSCPs working in CHI, at Crumlin across 20 diverse professions including; Dietetics, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Radiography, Audiology, Physiotherapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Genetics, Departments of Paediatric Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Engineering, Social Work and Psychology.

National Health & Social Care Professions (HSCP) Day celebrates the invaluable contribution of HSCPs in the Irish Health Service. This is a day for HSCPs to be seen and celebrated, and to promote understanding about how each profession makes a difference in delivering best care, services and health outcomes.

To celebrate the day in Crumlin, HSCPs hosted a number of information sessions where staff and families could learn about HSCP assessment and interventions.
