You are here: Home > Swine Flu Virus > Visitors Restrictions Visiting Restrictions – November- December 2009 As a precautionary measure, we must, regretfully, restrict visiting to parents / guardians only until further notice due to the increase of in-patients who have H1N1 – Swine Flu Virus. We realise some parents / guardians may not be able to accompany their child to the hospital, and ask parents / guardians to designate 1-2 named individuals on their behalf to stay with their child while in hospital. Visitors cards are issued to parents/guardians when their child is admitted to the hospital. These Visitors Cards must be carried at all times and presented to security when entering the hospital. We understand the disappointment that this will cause to both visitors and patients but the safety of our patients health has to come first. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us to safeguard the children and staff of this hospital. For further advice/information on the Swine Flu Virus:
