The School Room

The Hospital recognises that it is important for children in hospital to maintain as near normal a lifestyle as possible.

Consequently, we have a Primary School in the hospital, staffed by qualified school teachers.

Children who are admitted repeatedly to Our Lady's and long stay patients are encouraged where possible, to attend school while in hospital. Such children often find it helpful to bring some school books and copies to hospital with them.
