Enquiring About Your Child's Progress If you require information about your child's illness, treatment or tests, ask the Ward Sister or Staff Nurse. If necessary, he/she can arrange for you to see the doctor in charge of your child. Do not be afraid to ask the doctor or nurse anything you wish to know. He/she will tell you what is happening to your child and how he/she is progressing. You may have contact with staff from different disciplines, which can be identified as follows:
When making telephone enquiries, please give your child's full name and the name of the ward. Information about a particular child will be given only to the parents/guardians.
