  • Emergency Department is open.  CHI is asking parents/guardians to think about all their care and treatment options including their local family GP and GP out of hours service before attending the EDs (Emergency Departments) in our hospitals on 26 June2019
  • Radiology will operate as normal so please attend for your xray or ultrasound appointment.
  • Blood Test clinic will operate as normal so please attend the walk in service in OPD Phlebotomy.
  • Emergency Theatres will be in operation.
  • The hospitals catering priority for tomorrow is to provide catering for all in patients attending.
  • All inpatients will receive meals tomorrow.
  • Staff Canteen will be closed.
  • Two coffee shops onsite serving hot and cold food for purchase will be open.

We apologise for the inconvience and would ask for families patience in this regard and that they pay close attention to national and media outlets and our websites for further strike related updates.  Any appointments that are cancelled due to the industrial action will be reinstated as soon as possible.
